Day (1) Yangon Arrival by evening flight

Arrive Yangon airport by evening flight. Meet and welcome at the airport by our Green Palace experienced guide and transfer to hotel. Dinner at local restaurant and O/N at the hotel.

Day (2) Yangon - Bago - Kyaik Hti Yoe (by car)

BagoAfter breakfast drive to Bago which is 80 km far from Yangon. Arrive Bago in the morning. Visit to Kyaik Pun (Four Sisters) Pagoda, Shwe Thar Hlaung, Ma Ha Zedi Pagoda, Ka Hlyar Ni Ordaining Hall, Kan Baw Za Tha Di Old Palace, now excavated and Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda. Then proceed to Kim Pun Camp, 106 km from Bago, the basic foot hill camp of Kyaik Hti Yoe mountain range. On way to base camp lunch at local restaurant near the town of Kyaik Hto. Then climb up to Ya-The-Taung, a sub-camp by light truck. Continue climbing from Ya-The-Taung to hill top by foot which is about 1.5km far from and about one hour walk on the hill top, transfer to hotel. And then visit to Kyaik Hti Yoe (Golden Rock) Pagoda within 300 meters walking distance from the hotel, Kyikan Bazat (Crow's mouth) Cave and take photographs, a market place for shopping and strolling. Dinner and O/N at the hotel.

Day (3) Kyaik Hti Yoe - Kyaik Htee Saung (by car)

KyaihtiyoeEarly risers may enjoy returning to the Golden Rock; about 20 minutes walk from hotel, to watch the sunrise. After breakfast, walk down the mountain and return by truck to the base camp at Kinpun. Then drive to Kyaik Htee Saung Pagoda, Suvannabhumi or 'Golden Land', the birth place of Buddhism in Myanmar, to see ancient Laterite stones Pagoda and Buddha Images. Pay homage to the Kyaikhteesaung Sayadaw (Abbot of the monastery) and observe around the pagoda. Dinner and O/N at Kyaik Htee Saung.

Day (4) Kyaik Htee Saung - Mawlamyaing (by car)

After breakfast, drive to the city of Mawlamyaing. Arrive Mawlamyaing in the late morning. Transfer to hotel. After lunch at a local restaurant, take a boat trip to the Island of Gaung Se Kyun, also known as Shampoo Island, famous for its former hair washing ceremonies on the mouth of Thanlwin River, to see the floating rock and ancient Buddha Images. Return to Mawlamyaing in the evening. Dinner at local restaurant and O/N at the hotel.

Day (5) Mawlamyaing sightseeing (by car)

After breakfast, visit the eastern part of the city, a hilly north-south ridge; Mahamuni Pagoda, built in typical Mon Style, the largest temple complex in Mawlamyaing; Kyaik Than Lan Pagoda, known as the years-old Seindon Mibaya Kyaung, a monastery where King Mindon Min's Queen sought refuge. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, afternoon visit to U Zi Na Image, was named after a former monk who dreamt of finding gems at this spot; U Khan Ti Image, the hermit who built Mandalay Hill. Enjoy the sunset from the view points of Mawlamyaing. Dinner at local restaurant and O/N at the hotel.

Day (6) Mawlamyaing - Thanbyuzayat - Setse Beach - Mawlamyaing (by car)

After breakfast drive from Mawlamyaing to Thanbyuzayat (Tin Shelter) to visit Second World War Memorial Cemetery in Thanbyuzayat. Then proceed to Setse Beach. Lunch at local restaurant. After a short leisure time, drive back to Mawlamyaing. Dinner at local restaurant and O/N at the hotel.

Day (7) Mawlamyaing - Hpa An - Yangon (by car)

After breakfast drive from Mawlamyaing to Hpa An by car about 60 km distance. Arrive Hpa An and visit Lake Kanthayar for photo stop, Hpa An Market and Shwe Yin Myaw World Peace Pagoda at the bank of Thanlwin River. Lunch at a local restaurant. Proceed to Yangon from Hpa An and arrive Yangon in the late evening. Dinner at local restaurant and O/N at the hotel.

 

Day (8) Yangon - Bagan (Nyaung Oo) (by flight)

BaganAfter breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for domestic flight to BAGAN. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. After a stroll through the colorful local Nyaung Oo Market continue the day with visits to the most significant pagodas the temples of Bagan including SHWEZIGON PAGODA, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine; KU BYANUK GYI, a temple with superb murals of Jataka scenes; ANANDA TEMPLE, with four standing Buddha images.

After lunch, visit one of Myanmar's most treasured handicrafts, a lacquer ware craftsmen's workshop in nearby MYINKABA village. You will continue to MNUHA TEMPLE, built in the Mon-style in 1059 and follow on to NANBAYA TEMPLE, a unique sandstone monument said to have been the palace of King Manuha. Next you will explore the MYINGABA GU BYAUKGYI TEMPLE, a temple noteworthy for its mural paintings under the protection of UNESCO. The ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM is also visited to view the beautiful Buddha images of bronze, stone and lacquer. Proceed to BUPAYA PAGODA or MINGALA ZEDI STUPA to watch the sunset over the famous Ayeyarwaddy River.

Dinner at a riverside restaurant and overnight stay at Bagan Hotel or Thazin Garden Hotel (3*) or similar in Bagan.

Day (9) Bagan sightseeing (by car)

After breakfast, morning visit to Tharapa Old Gate, Damayangyi Temple, the biggest volume in Bangan, SularMuni Temple Myinkaba villages to see village lives and Alodaw- Pyae Pagoda and monastery. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch visit to lacquer ware and handicraft shops and workshop. And then proceed to Bagan Archaeological Museum. Then proceed to Phwar Saw Village to see native lives and, Dinner at Myanma traditional culture show and dance at local restaurant and O/N at the hotel.

Day (10) Bagan - Salay - Bagan (by car)

After breakfast, morning drive to Salay where you can observe Yoke Sone (Youpson) Kyaung, the oldest surviving wooden monastery hall bearing the original 120-year-old sculptures, which include nearly three dimensional carvings of 19th century court life, Jatakas and Ramayana Tales. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, return to Bagan. Then a short sightseeing in the downtown area. Dinner at local restaurant and O/N at the hotel.

Day (11) Bagan - Mt. Popa - Bagan (by car)

PopaAfter breakfast morning drive to Mt. Popa, the core of an extinct volcano last active 25,000 years ago, known as the 'Mt Olympus' of Myanmar, the abode of Myanmar's most powerful Nats (Spiritual beings), the most important Nat Worship Centre. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, return to Bagan. Dinner at local restaurant and O/N at the hotel.


Day (12) Bagan-Mandalay (by boat)

After breakfast morning transfer to Jetty for upstream to Mandalay. Following Rudyard Kipling's Road to Mandalay Poem, enjoy the natural scenic beauty and the ways of life along Ayeyarwady River. Lunch on the way. Arrive Mandalay in the evening and transfer to hotel. Dinner at local restaurant and O/N at the hotel.

Day (13) Mandalay Sightseeing (by car)

MandalayAfter breakfast, morning sightseeing will include visit to Mahamuni Image covered with very thick layer of pure gold leaves weighing between 3-5 tons on the body except face, Maha Aung Mye Bonzan Oak Kyaung, a brick and stucco monastery. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch visit to Zey-gyo-daw Market, Mandalay's famous and biggest market, Golden palace (ex palace of former Myanmar kings newly built as the original style and design), Atumashi (the unrivalled) Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda know as the world biggest book with the collection of 729 stone slabs on which are inscribed the whole of Buddhist scripture at the foot of Mandalay Hill, then climb up to the Mandalay Hill Top to see sunset on the Ayeyawaddy River and Mandalay city view. Dinner at local restaurant and O/N at the hotel.

Day (14) Mandalay - Mingun - Mandalay (by boat & car)

BaganAfter breakfast morning boat trip to Mingun, just 12km on the west bank upstream from Mandalay. Upon arrival, visit Pondaw Paya, a five meter high working model for gigantic structure; Settawya Paya, the vaulted shrine with a footprint of the Buddha; Mingun Pahtotagyi Paya, one of the world's largest chides built by Bodaw Paya; the World renowned ringing, Mingun bell weighing 90 tons; Hsinbyume Paya, a representation of the Sulamani Paya which stands atop Mt. Meru. Return to Mandalay. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon sightseeing includes Shwe Inbin Monastery, one of the rare specimens of typical Myanmar architecture; and Tapestry Workshop. Shwenandaw Kyaung or Golden Palace Monastery, a superb traditional wooden building; continue to Marble carving and Bronze carving workshops. Dinner at local restaurant and O/N at the Hotel.

Day (15) Mandalay- Amarapura- AVA - Sagaing - Mandalay (by car)

BaganAfter breakfast, morning excursion to Amarapura, 11km south of Mandalay. This trip will take you to Mahagandayon Monastery where more than a thousand monks live and study, to see their last meal of the day in total silence. Continue to U Pein Wooden Bridge built in 1782 using only wood even nail. And observe Myanma traditional hand-woven silk workshop. Continue to AVA, tour highlights include the 27-metre-high Masonry Watch Tower, Nanmyint (or) the ''Leaning Tower of AVA"; AVA Bagaya Monastery built with 276 teak pillars and observe Myanma tradition Alms bowls workshop. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch cross AVA Bridge, built by British engineers, to visit picturesque Sagaing Hill which perhaps the living centre of Buddhist faith in Myanmar today. Hillsides are dotted with numerous pagodas and monasteries. Continue to visit Kaunghmudaw Pagoda, with its huge egg - shaped dome in Ceylonese style. In the evening, enjoy the sunset from the Sagaing Hill. Return to Mandalay. Dinner at local restaurant and O/N at the hotel.

Day (16) Mandalay - Monywa (by car)

MonywaAfter breakfast, drive to Monywa through Inwa (AVA) bridge seeing the pleasant village lives. After visiting Moe Nyin Than Bodde Pagoda, arrive Monywa and transfer to hotel. After taking a short rest at the hotel, lunch at a local restaurant and then visit by boat to Yinmarpin Township which is situated on the other side of the river. And then proceed to Hpo Win Taung. And go back to Monywa through Chindwin River and sightseeing in the downtown area of Monywa. Dinner at local restaurant and O/N at the hotel.

Day (17) Monywa - Mandalay (by car)

After breakfast, drive back to Mandalay. Arrive Mandalay in the late morning. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch a short sightseeing in the downtown area. Dinner at local restaurant and O/N at the hotel.

Day (18) Mandalay - Pyin Oo Lwin (by car)

PyinoolwinAfter breakfast, morning drive to Pyin Oo Lwin, a hill resort town over 1,000 meters high on the Shan plateau about 60 km far from Mandalay. After arriving Pyin Oo Lwin, transfer to hotel. After a short rest, visit to Botanical Garden, Pyin Oo Lwin market and colonial buildings, lunch at local restaurant. After lunch proceed to Peik Chim Myaung cave and water falls about 18 km far from Pyin Oo Lwin. See the wonder of the cave. Return to Pyin Oo Lwin. Dinner at local restaurant and O/N at the hotel.

Day (19) Pyin Oo Lwin - Mandalay (by car)

After breakfast, morning sightseeing to National Royal Lake Park. Lunch at local restaurant at Pyin Oo Lwin. After lunch return to Mandalay by car. Arrive Mandalay in the evening and transfer to hotel. Dinner at local restaurant and O/N at the hotel.

Day (20) Mandalay - (Heho) Inle Lake (by flight)

InlayAfter breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Heho. Arrive Heho in the morning and continue to Inle Lake by car about 1 hour drive. Transfer to hotel. Sightseeing start by boat to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, where sacred and almost shapeless Buddha Image are housed, to one village which turn for 5 day rotation market, floating village of Heya Ywama and weaving village of Inpawkon. Lunch at a floating village. After lunch visit Nga-phe Chaung Monastery better known as jumping cat monastery for its wonder of trained cats, other floating gardens and canals. To see native's method of rowing by leg, method of fishing, Shan shoulders bag weaving workshop in Nan Pan village on the lake. Dinner and O/N at the hotel.

Day (21) Inle Lake Sightseeing (by boat)

After breakfast, visit by boat to Intain village. Lunch there. After lunch drive back and round the lake by boat from one floating village to another, one floating garden to another and one floating canal to another. Dinner and O/N at the hotel.

Day (22) Inle (Heho) - Yangon - Ngwe Saung (by flight & car)

NgwesaungAfter breakfast, transfer to Heho airport by car for return flight to Yangon. Arrive Yangon in the late morning. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, drive to Ngwe Saung Beach about 245 km far from Yangon. Arrive Ngwe Saung Beach in the evening. Transfer to hotel. Dinner and O/N at the hotel.



Day (24) Chang Tha Beach or Nge Saung Beach

After breakfast, leisure at the beach. Lunch, dinner and O/N at the hotel.

Day (25) Chang Tha Beach or Nge Saung Beach

After breakfast, leisure at the beach. Lunch, dinner and O/N at the hotel.

Day (26) Chaung Tha Beach or Nge Saung Beach - Pathein- Yangon (by car)

After breakfast, drive back to Yangon by car. A short sightseeing in the city of Pathein which is the capital city of Delta region and on way between Chaung Tha beach or Nge Saung Beach - Yangon highway. Lunch on the way. Arrive Yangon in the late afternoon. Transfer to hotel. Dinner at local restaurant and O/N at the hotel.

Day (27) Yangon Sightseeing (by car)

YangonAfter breakfast, visit Mindama Hill where the world biggest white marble Buddha Image is situated and also to see the (3) white elephants. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit Yangon's famous Bogyoke Aung San Market, Sule Pagoda, Mahabandoola Park and Colonial buildings around it, Botahtaung Pagoda, Karaweik Royal Barge on the Royal Lake and the great Shwe Dagon Pagoda built over 2500 years ago, its golden dome rises 96 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold leaves. Also to see sunset from the pagoda. And then a short visit to China Town for strolling. Dinner at local restaurant and O/N at the hotel.

Day (28) Yangon Departure by evening flight

After breakfast, visit Chauk Htut Gyi Reclining Buddha Image, Kaba Aye (World Peace) Pagoda, Tooth relic Pagoda and Gem Museum. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch transfer to airport for evening departure flight.
